Welcome to the Table

You belong here.

We are The Table.

The Table is a member of the Gather Network, a group of interdenominational young adult communities dedicated to engaging deeply with our faith. Whether you have a church home that you love or haven’t been in a while (or ever!), you are welcome here. The Table offers an opportunity for young adults to come together across denominational lines to fellowship and learn about our faith together.

We gather twice monthly at locations across the valley for fellowship, fun, and faith discussions. Anyone 18-35 (or somewhere close to that) is welcome to join in!

Upcoming Discussions:

In the coming months, we’ll be discussing a variety of topics, from Countercultural Possibilities in Scripture to Evangelism! Feel free to join in as often as you’re able; we’d love to hear your perspective.

Countercultural Possibilities in the Scriptures: Jan-Feb

What makes the life of a follower of Jesus distinct? In our baptisms, we die with Christ and are raised to new life in him. In this four-part discussion series, we'll study the scriptures to see what this new life calls us to- and how the Christian life and the witness of the Church are (or maybe aren't) different in the present day. Please bring your Bible; this will be a scripture-intensive series!

  • January 21 at 6:30 p.m. - St. Mark’s Cathedral (231 E. 100 S. in Salt Lake City)

The Turning - Repentance and You: March

You’ve probably heard a lot about repentance, whether from someone waving a sign on the street or from a TV pundit, but what does it actually mean to repent? In this Lent-inspired series, we’ll examine penitence from a variety of angles, blending scripture and the practice of the Church into a seamless whole. We’ll also discuss what healthy repentance looks like, and how we can incorporate it into our personal spiritual practices.
